Leopard print accent piece

I've always wanted something with leopard print: clothes or accessories, but for some reason I never owned one.. Maybe it's because i was worried that leopard print won't fit me as I was associating animal prints to be too wild that and I was afraid that I won't be able to pull the look off.  Few weeks ago there was a sale going on in Bloomingdales so my family and I decided to check it out. While browsing in the bag section, this clutch from DVF caught my attention. It was everything that I wanted! First of all, I needed a clutch (I find it easier to carry around when pushing the stroller rather than other types of handbags), next, the caramel color and leopard print (anything that is nude, brown shades are my favorite colors nowadays!), and lastly, it was on sale! I love how the print is not overwhelming and it is just a nice accent piece. This clutch is my new favorite obsession! Many times I find myself dressing myself up just to match to this piece!

Here I paired this clutch with nutral color outfit: sheer grey top, milk tea colored shorts and cardigan and beige color shoes.

Peaceful summer day

It was a peaceful saturday afternoon with nice breeze when my husband, baby Chloe and I went out for driving. While driving randomly we found some beautiful hidden alleys where we decided to stop and take some shots.

The chiffon maxi skirt is one of my favorite pieces to wear in the summer due to its light fabric, comfort and you just feel so feminine in it!

Several days ago baby Chloe got a new hat that looks like mommy's, but tiny. Now we match together. How cute is that!?

Comfy look on breezy day~

It was such a warm breezy day that my family went to Penn's landing to take a walk, but first we went to Chinatown for ramen (as we were lazy to cook that afternoon) There is a restruant named Terakawa that serves Japanese style noodles. Tan tan ramen is my favorite and I regularly (once every other week) crave it. We also had some yummy appetizers as well but I forgot to take a picture as I was too hungry and the moment it was served it was gone. Japanese food is my favorite and I will be more than willing to live off it three times a day 24/7. As I've been having a lazy day I decided to go out super comfortable: white plain shirt, jean shorts and wedge sneakers, and I'm glad I did that as we were walking a lot that day.

Little red dress

My favorite color after pink is the color red. The color pink being my favorite comes from being girly and loving anything princessy. Color red i love because it is such a great accent color and it pops out from the other colors.

This outfit is one of my favorites nowadays. I love wearing it for dinner or to the church. I think the design of the dress is classy and elegant. Pairing this corally red color dress with black colored simple accessories and shoes makes the look very defined, not mentioning that the black helps the red to stand out even more.

Today's the last day of the May. It is crazy  how fast the time goes. I cannot believe that in 2 days my little Chloe is going to be 9 months old already!

White v-neck shirt + vibrant shorts

It is officially summer!! It was 87 degrees!! I used to hate summer times until last year as my body reacted badly to hot temperature and i was getting heat strokes all the time thoughout summer season. Even in the winter time when every normal human being was complaining about cold, I was happy that i didn't feel "too hot". Moreover, Alaska was my dream place to live or any other place where it was super cold (i'm not kidding). This year though, after 6-7 months of my postpartum, i started to notice that my body temperature was not as hot as usual. Every night and even nowadays in this heat, i go to sleep in my fuzzy socks and I still complain about my feet feeling freezy.. My point is that i'm starting to like summer and heat and that is a big big change for me. Anybody who is close to me knows that i'm definitely not a summer, beachy type of girl, but this year i actually cannot wait to go to the beach! I even told my husband that we should move to California (he could not believe what he heard)!
Anyways, as hot as today was i felt incredibly comfortable in my white v-neck shirt paired with bright shorts that adore so much! Pairing it with white long pearl necklace gives this look elegance but it still looks comfortable and casual.

Sheer shirt+skater skirt

Today me, my husband and little Chloe spent a nice family time. We drove all the way to Lancaster, to the Amish community. This is one of my favorite place in Philly. There are green meadows, hills and farmland full of livestock. The air is fresher and the sky seems to be brighter (at least it feels like that). There is a big supermarket where you can find local groceries harvested by amish people. We had quite fun shopping there and exploring all the local produce. The weather was perfect today: 72 degrees, not too cold and not too hot.

One of my new year resolutions is to go back to my pre pregnancy weight. To achieve this goal I decided to start doing Tracy Anderson metamorphosis videos. This program lasts for 90 days and there are lots of great reviews about the transformation before and after. Originally I wanted to start this on the 1st of January but I've damaged my knees at the end of December so I had to wait until my knees healed, so today was the first day of my exercise. I did 30 minute of cardio then 30 minute of muscle strengthening. It was super hard but afterwards it feels really good. I'll keep updated about my progress.
